Corinthian Brothers Continue Masonic Careers at Ashlar Village in Ashlar Lodge No. 332
wm08As has happened with many Masons throughout Connecticut, some Corinthian Lodge #103 Brothers have moved to Ashlar Village in Wallingford to take advantage of the many accommodations and activities the Village has to offer. On March 30, 2009, Ashlar Lodge #332 was charted with great fanfare and many of the resident Masons including Corinthian Brothers became charter members or joined the newly formed lodge after moving to Ashlar Village.

On Tuesday, January 3, 2012, I had the privilege of witnessing four Corinthian Brothers installed as officers in Ashlar Lodge. The installation was held in the Knapp Auditorium and was well attended with RW William S. Clark serving as Installing Master and WB Gregory W. Whitehouse serving as Installing Marshal with assistance from RW Jason R. Rieger and RW James J. Pyskaty. A full line of officers were installed and I am sure that if you were to add together all the years of Masonic service represented by the newly installed officers we would be looking at hundreds of years.

Corinthian Brothers installed for 2012 were: William G. Buick, Junior Warden, Reverend Donald F. Allen, Chaplain, Dagobert F. Pfeiffer, Organist, and John A. Wettstone, Assistant Secretary. Brother Buick was raised as a Master Mason in 1944 and is a Past Master of our Lodge, Brother Allen was raised as a Master Mason in 1949, Brother Pfeiffer was raised as a Master Mason in 1989, and Brother Wettstone was raised as a Master Mason in 1980. Also in attendance was Brother Kenneth W. Lewis who has recently moved into Ashlar Village after living in Florida for many years. Brother Lewis was raised as a Master Mason in 1954.

On behalf of all the Brothers of Corinthian Lodge, I wish all the newly installed officers in Ashlar Lodge #332 a very successful year and congratulate our Corinthian Brothers for staying active in the Craft.

FraFraternally, WB Nicola M. Iannone, PM
